Abstract
Un método para la fracturación hidráulica de formaciones subterráneas de manera tal de lograr el mejorado sostén o apeado de fracturas, en particular, en formaciones rocosas dúctiles tales como pizarras que contienen gas, que tienen un alto contenido de arcilla. El método permite la mejorada producción de hidrocarburos. El método involucra la inyección de un primer fluido que tiene una primera concentración de apeos, en el interior de la formación subterránea a fin de formar una fractura; la reducción de la presión en la fractura y el cierre sustancial de la fractura; y la inyección de un segundo fluido que tiene una segunda concentración de apeos, en el interior de la fractura, a fin de reabrir la fractura. La segunda concentración de apeos es mayor que la primera concentración de apeos. Una porción de los apeos es efectivamente retenida en la fractura reabierta.
