Abstract
Un sistema de control y un método de siembra para mejorar el rendimiento minimizando la sobresiembra y la subsiembra durante las operaciones de siembra. A medida que la sembradora atraviesa el campo, se crea un mapa preciso de emplazamiento de semillas al asociar el instante de tiempo de cada pulso de semilla generado por los sensores de semillas con la localización de una unidad de GPS. En base al mapa generado de emplazamiento de semillas, un límite de detención de siembra que está definido por las semillas previamente sembradas o por otro límite del campo, de modo tal que cuando una sección de hileras de la sembradora cruza el límite de detención de siembra, los controladores de secciones de hileras desenganchan a los accionadores de los correspondientes dosificadores de semillas para evitar la siembra de semillas. Los controladores de secciones de hileras hacen que los accionadores se re-enganchen de manera de permitir la continuación de la siembra cuando las secciones de hileras afectadas salen del límite de detención de siembra.
