Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un método para producir un surfactante a partir de glicerol caracterizado porque incluye los siguientes pasos: (a) convertir glicerol en glicidol, (b) polimerizar glicidol para producir un alcohol alifático con la fórmula molecular CnH(2n)O, en donde n es un entero numérico en el rango de 5 a 25; y (c) sustituir el resto hidroxilo del alcohol con un grupo cabeza adecuado.
