Abstract
Se provee un método para la colocacion heterogénea de materiales de apuntalamiento en fracturaciones mediante el agregado in situ de macropartículas de materiales de apuntalamiento de malla fina u otros materiales como, por ejemplo, fibras, en una fractura subterránea. Se inyecta un polímero en una formacion subterránea y se somete posteriormente a una reaccion química, por ejemplo, hidrolisis, bajo condiciones de fondo de pozo, que conduce a la formacion de un polielectrolito cationico o anionico. Alternativamente, el polielectrolito se sintetiza en el fondo del pozo mediante, por ejemplo, una degradacion de Hofmann o una reaccion de Mannich. El polielectrolito actua como floculante y provee el agregado de macropartículas solidas como, por ejemplo, arena, mica, harina de sílice, cerámicos y similares, que conduce a la formacion de microcolumnas de materiales de apuntalamiento en la profundidad de la fractura. Se proveen también métodos de agregado de fibras para aumentar el puenteo, como también otras aplicaciones de floculacion controlada.
