Abstract

Sistema de medicion de distancias (100) para localizar un satélite geoestacionario (SA) equipado con un transpondedor (22), que comprende: una estacion central (10) que emite una senal de medicion de distancia (11), al menos una estacion de medicion (13) que recibe la senal emitida, que incluye medios para medir el tiempo de llegada de la senal emitida, y transmitida a través del transpondedor (22) del satélite, las estaciones central y de medicion, de posiciones conocidas, que incluye medios de sincronizacion con una base de tiempo comun (18). El transpondedor (22) es aquel de un sistema de telecomunicaciones por satélite (200), y posee un ancho de banda B; la estacion central incluye medios para emitir una senal de medicion de distancia específica (11), distinta de las senales de telecomunicaciones transmitidas a través del transpondedor, con eventos periodicos y con espectro disperso, cuyo ancho de banda está incluido en B.
