Abstract

Sistemas, métodos e instrucciones codificadas en un medio legible por computadora pueden ejecutar operaciones relacionados con la simulacion estocástica de la propagacion de fracturas subtérráneas. Se analiza una pluralidad de modelos de formaciones subterráneas, dada uno de los cuales representa una formacion subterránea, para obtener informacion sobre los resultados pronosticados de la aplicacion de un tratamiento de inyeccion a la formacion subterránea. Cada simulacion tiene un valor parámetro de entrada determinado para esa simulacion sobre la base del muestreo de una distribucion de valores correspondiente a una característica de la formacion subterránea. La informacion sobre los resultados previstos de la aplicacion del tratamiento de inyeccion puede incluir, por ejemplo, una distribucion de probabilidades de salida. En algunas formas de implementacion, se puede emplear la informacion para disenar un tratamiento de inyeccion para la formacion subterránea.
