Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un método para cargar un barco dragador (1) con material dragado en una tolva (2) provista para este fin y que posee un rebosadero de altura ajustable (10). En el método, una mezcla de material dragado y agua es acarreada por una vía de ingreso (3) hacia el interior de la tolva (2), en donde la mezcla forma una capa de sedimento (20) debido al asentamiento de las partículas más pesadas del material dragado. El punto de altura del rebosadero (10) por encima de la capa de sedimento (20) se ajusta en base a un valor de un parámetro de control medido durante el llenado de la tolva (2), en especial la velocidad horizontal promedio de la mezcla no asentada de material dragado y agua por encima de la capa de sedimento (20) entre la vía de ingreso (3) y el rebosadero (10). La calidad de la mezcla dragada puede controlarse mejor empleando el método inventado.
