Abstract
Factor de transcripcion de planta HAHB1 (Helianthus Annuus Homeobox 1) y su uso para modificar las respuestas de las plantas a las condiciones del estrés, que incluyen congelacion, sequía, salinidad e invasion de patogenos. Se realizaron análisis de micromatriz que indican que dicha tolerancia ocurre por medio del aumento de las proteínas anticongelacion localizadas en el apoplasto celular que inhibe el crecimiento de cristales de hielo extracelulares grandes. También se describe el uso de dichas proteínas. Reivindicacion 11: Un constructo de gen quimérico que comprende una secuencia de ácidos nucleicos que codifica la secuencia N-terminal de una proteína de HD Zip e la subfamilia I o una secuencia que comprende un motivo de consenso o parte de este asociado operativamente con una secuencia de ácidos nucleicos que codifica una secuencia que comprende el extremo C-terminal de HAHB1, o una secuencia que comprende un motivo de consenso o parte de este.
