Abstract

Un procedimiento para el precurtido de pieles que comprende las siguientes etapas: a) encalado y lavado de las pieles; b) desencalado, purga y lavado de las pieles; c) ajuste del pH, si se requiere; d) precurtido de las pieles; y e) ajuste del pH, si se requiere; donde la etapa d) del precurtido de las pieles comprende el tratamiento de las pieles con: i) uno o más curtientes orgánicos; y ii) uno o más agentes estabilizantes, donde las pieles son tratadas con el agente estabilizante después de ser tratadas con el curtiente.
