Abstract
Se describe un método y un aparato para seleccionar una combinacion de formato de transporte de un canal dedicado (E-DCH) (E-TFC) en el estado CELL_FACH y modo inactivo. Una unidad de transmision/recepcion inalámbrica (WTRU) transmite un preámbulo del canal de acceso aleatorio (RACH) y recibe un índice con respecto a un recurso del E-DCH, en respuesta al preámbulo del RACH. La WTRU puede estimar una capacidad de potencia sobre la base de la máxima potencia de transmision de la WTRU, el valor de compensacion de potencia y la potencia de transmision del ultimo preámbulo del RACH transmitido exitosamente. La WTRU limita una E-TFC sobre la base de la capacidad de potencia estimada y selecciona una E-TFC sobre la base de un conjunto de las E-TFC promovidas. Luego, la WTRU genera y transmite una unidad de datos del protocolo (PDU) sobre la base de la E-TFC seleccionada.
