Abstract
La presente provee un sensor optico de fraccion de hielo que comprende un recorrido del flujo en el cual puede fluir un medio que contiene hielo, un emisor optico y un receptor optico. En el uso, un recorrido de la luz se extiende entre el emisor y el receptor y al menos una porcion del recorrido de la luz es paralela al recorrido del flujo El sensor optico de fraccion de hielo se puede usar para medir o verificar la fraccion de hielo de un medio que contiene hielo que está presente en el recorrido del flujo. También se provee un método de medicion o verificacion de la fraccion de hielo de un medio que contiene hielo dentro de un recorrido del flujo.
