Abstract
Composiciones de ARN bicatenario y plantas transgénicas capaces de inhibir la expresion de genes esenciales en nematodos parasitarios, y con métodos asociados con aquellas. Específicamente, el uso de ARN de interferencia para inhibir la expresion de un gen blanco esencial del nematodo, que es un gen de tipo sca1 de nematodo, y se relaciona con la generacion de plantas que tienen mayor resistencia a nemátodos parasitarios. Reivindicacion 1: Una molécula de dsARN caracterizada porque comprende a) una primera cadena que comprende una secuencia sustancialmente idéntica a una porcion de un gen blanco de tipo sca1, de un nematodo parasitario, y b) una segunda cadena que comprende una secuencia sustancialmente complementaria de la primera cadena, en donde el gen blanco es un gen de tipo sca1 de nematodo parasitario.
