Abstract

Se describe una composicion que comprende o se produce con un biopolímero, un copolímero de olefina y un polímero opcional, donde el biopolímero comprende unidades repeladas derivadas de un glicosido. También se describe un articulo que comprende ose produce con la composicion. Reivindicacion 1: Una composicion caracterizada porque comprende o se produce con un biopolímero, un copolímero de olefina y un polímero opcional, donde el biopolímero incluye un almidon modificado con hidroxialquilo, y está presente en la composicion en una concentracion de al menos 85%, sobre la base del peso seco total de la composicion; el copolímero de olefina se produce mediante la copolimerizacion de una olefina, un monomero, y opcionalmente un comonomero; la olefina incluye etileno, propileno, butileno, o combinaciones de dos o más de éstos; el monomero incluye anhídrido maleico, ácido maleico, sal de ácido maleico, diéster de ácido maleico, monoéster de ácido maleico, ácido itaconico, ácido fumárico, monoéster de ácido fumáríco, o combinaciones de dos o más de éstos; el comonomero opcional incluye ácido (met)acrílico, sal de ácido (met)acrílico, C1-8 éster de ácido (met)acrilico, monoxido de carbono, dioxido de azufre, acrilonitrilo, acrilato de glicidilo, metacrilato de glicidilo y vinil éter de glicidilo, o combinaciones de dos o más de éstos; y el polímero opcional incluye copolímero de etileno, copolímero de polivinil butiral, o combinaciones de éstos; el copolímero de etileno incluye copolimero de alquil (met)acrilato de etileno, copolímero de vinil acetato de etileno, copolimero de ácido etilénico o ionomeros de éste, poli(alcohol vinílico), poli(ácido hidroxialcanoico), poliéster, poliamida, poliuretano, poliolefina, policaprolactona, éster de copoliéter, oxido de polialquileno, o combinaciones de dos o más de éstos.
