Abstract
Líneas de zanahoria que poseen raíces con niveles más elevados de licopeno, así como envases de tales zanahorias. La presente invencion también se refiere a partes de plantas de zanahoria de líneas que poseen raíces con mayor contenido de licopeno, incluyendo semillas capaces de generar plantas de zanahoria con mayor contenido de licopeno en la raíz. La invencion también proporciona semillas y plantas de las líneas de zanahoria designadas RN 71-4904C, RF 71-4911A, FR 71-4912S, RIF 71-4966C, RIF 71-4967B, o RIF 71-4968B. La invencion en consecuencia se refiere a las plantas, las semillas y los cultivos titulares de la línea de zanahorias RN 71-4904Cm RF 71-4911S, RF 71-4942S, RIF 71-4966C, RIF 71-4967B o RIF 71-4968B, y a métodos para producir una planta de zanahoria producida por el cruzamiento de una planta de la línea de zanahorias RN 71-4904C, RF 71-4911A, RF 4912S, RIF 71-4966C, RIF 71-4967B, o RIF 71-4968B consigo misma o con otra planta de zanahoria, tal como una planta de otra línea. La invencion además se refiere a las semillas y las plantas producidas por dicho cruzamiento. La invencion además se refiere a partes de una planta de la línea de zanahorias RN 71-4904C, RF 71-4911S, RF 71-4942S, RIF 71-4966C, RIF 71- 4967B, o RIF 71-4968B, incluyendo los frutos y gametos de esas plantas.
