Abstract

Una formulación de biocida estable, de bajo VOC, de baja viscosidad, que comprende una cantidad efectiva de al menos un biocida, 1,2-bencisotiazolin-3-ona (BIT) y un portador líquido de poliglicol de fórmula: R-O-(AO)ₙ-O-R' en donde n es 4-25; R y R' son hidrógeno, grupos alquilo C₁₋₃, grupo O=C-CH₃, o grupo O=C-C₂H₅; y AO es a) CH₂CH₂O, o b) copolímero de bloqueo o aleatorio de CH₂CH₂O/CH₂CHMe-O; con la condición de que cuando R y R' son ambos hidrógeno, AO es un copolímero de bloque o aleatorio.
