Abstract

La presente describe un método de expansion radial de un elemento tubular que se extiende hacia el pozo de perforacion formado en una formacion térrea. El método incluye inducir la curvatura del elemento tubular en sentido radial hacia afuera y en direccion axial reversa como para formar una seccion tubular expandida alrededor de una seccion tubular remanente del elemento tubular en el que dicha curvatura tiene lugar en la zona de curvatura del elemento tubular. El método también incluye aumentar la longitud de la seccion tubular expandida por induccion de la zona de curvatura para mover en direccion axial relativa a la seccion tubular remanente. Dicha pared incluye material deformado plásticamente en la zona de mezclado durante el proceso de mezclado como para que la seccion tubular expandida retenga una forma expandida como resultado de dicha deformacion plástica.
