Abstract

Un método para analizar una muestra de queratina de un sujeto de manera de mejorar la sensibilidad y especificidad de una prueba de diagnostico para un estado patologico en el sujeto, que comprende: a) exponer la muestra de queratina a energía incidente derivada de una fuente de energía; b) recibir energía radiada desde la muestra de queratina consecuente con el impacto de la energía incidente en la muestra de queratina; c) pasar al menos una porcion de la energía radiada recibida desde la muestra de queratina a través de un transductor de manera de derivar datos específicos del sujeto; d) procesar los datos específicos del sujeto; e) comparar los datos específicos del sujeto procesados de esta manera derivados con un segundo grupo de datos de referencia presentes en una base de datos de referencia; donde el segundo grupo de datos de referencia es consistente con una presencia del estado patologico en el sujeto; f) dicho método de procesamiento que incluye los pasos de aplicar un algoritmo apropiado a dichos datos específicos del sujeto previo a dicho paso de comparacion a través de lo cual se mejora la sensibilidad y especificidad relativo a dichos datos de referencia.
