Abstract
Técnicas de codificacion y de decodificacion que facilitan una interpolacion con mayor exactitud de los cuadros de video omitidos. En particular, se describen técnicas para obtener informacion del movimiento que indiquen el movimiento para cuadros de video omitidos sobre la base de movimiento de traslacion y de por lo menos otro parámetro de movimiento, y para aplicar la informacion de movimiento con el fin de interpolar los cuadros de video omitidos. La informacion del movimiento puede, por ejemplo, indicar el movimiento sobre la base de un modelo de movimiento que modela tres o más parámetros de movimiento, a diferencia de los vectores de movimiento de traslacion convencionales de dos parámetros. La informacion con mayor exactitud sobre el movimiento puede generarse, ya sea dentro del decodificador que lleva a cabo la operacion, o bien puede ser transmitida por un codificador en uno o más cuadros. Cualquiera sea el caso, las técnicas reducen la cantidad de artefactos visuales en el cuadro interpolada.
