Abstract
Se describe un separador de gas líquido adaptado para ser insertado en un conducto. El separador de gas-líquido incluye aletas inclinadas en direccion descendente y, optativamente, uno o más canales de retorno. Las aletas pueden tener una abertura a lo largo de su longitud, y un reborde inferior para canalizar el líquido acumulado a la pared del conducto o a canales de retorno inclinados. Si el conducto no está inclinado de tal manera que las gotas capturadas sean restituidas al recipiente donde se originan, se utiliza uno o más canales de retorno inclinados para restituir las gotas capturadas al recipiente del cual se origina la corriente de gas. Con un canal central de retorno, las aletas pueden estar conectadas directamente al canal, por lo cual el ensamble obtenido asume la forma de espinas de pescado. Cuando no se utiliza un canal de retorno, las aletas pueden estar conectadas a una placa o espinazo central, con lo cual el conjunto de espinazo-aletas toma la forma de espinas de pescado. Los mejoradores de la separacion se pueden utilizar en una variedad de configuraciones de conductos. Más aun, se puede utilizar una pluralidad de mejoradores de la separacion en un conducto de gas de escape para aumentar la eficiencia de separacion.
