Abstract
Sistemas y metodologías que facilitan la informacion de pilotos mejorada a dispositivos usuarios de MIMO sin incrementar la interferencia de dispositivos usuarios de SISO en un entorno de comunicaciones inalámbricas. Puede generarse una senal de comunicacion de datos y transmitírsela con un primer nivel de potencia, y es posible generar una forma de onda de pilotos continua que comprende informacion de pilotos relacionada con la senal de datos, y se la envía con una segundo nivel de potencia inferior al primer nivel de potencia de transmision. Como alternativa, es posible generar una forma de onda de pilotos discontinua de manera tal que no se superponga con los segmentos de pilotos en la primera forma de onda, y es posible transmitírsela con el primer nivel de potencia sin interferir con la primera forma de onda tal como es recibida por un dispositivo usuario de SISO. Un dispositivo usuario de MIMO puede recibir ambas formas de onda, y puede emplear la forma de onda de los pilotos para estimar mejor una canal de MIMO para la primera forma de onda.
