Abstract

Unos catalizadores para la oxicloracion de etileno a 1,2 dicloroetano, que comprenden unos compuestos de cobre y magnesio soportados sobre gamma alumina, en donde el cobre, expresado como metal, está presente en una cantidad desde 7 hasta 12 en peso y la relacion Mg/Cu es desde 0,05 hasta 1, caracterizados en que la distribucion de cobre en la partícula de catalizador es tal que la relacion x/y entre la concentracion de átomos de cobre sobre la superficie, proporcionada por la relacion Al/Cu (X) sobre la superficie (capa de 20-30 nm), y la concentracion proporcionada por la relacion Al/Cu (Y) rederida a la partícula entera es superior a 1,3 y puede llegar a 3.
