Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para la reduccion de solidos que contienen cobre para obtener cobre elemental, en el cual solidos que contienen cobre son introducidos en un reactor de lecho fluidizado y son reducidos en él con un agente de reduccion a una temperatura de 200 a 1.000 degree C. Para evitar una aglomeracion de los solidos en el reactor de lecho fluidizado, además sin la adicion de partículas inertes, se propone de acuerdo con la invencion ajustar la densidad media de la suspension del lecho fluidizado en el reactor a menos de 1.000 Kg/m3.
