Abstract

Un método y aparato para identificar e informar un canal de senalizacion de enlace ascendente (UL) mejorado no operativo. Una unidad inalámbrica de transmision/recepcion (WTRU) envía un pedido de distribucion de canal para un canal dedicado mejorado (E-DCH) a un Nodo B a través de un canal de senalizacion de EU de enlace ascendente (UL). En respuesta al pedido, el Nodo B envía informacion de distribucion de canal a la WTRU a través de uno o más canales de senalizacion de EU de enlace descendente (DL). Si la WTRU no recibe la informacion de distribucion de canal antes que finalice un período de tiempo predeterminado establecido por un timer de respuesta de pedido, la WTRU informa un canal de senalizacion de EU no operativo a un controlador de red de radio (RNC) a través del Nodo B. El Nodo B informa un canal de senalizacion de EU no operativo cuando el Nodo B no recibe transmisiones de datos de E-DCH luego de enviar la informacion de distribucion de canal, o recibe transmisiones de datos de E-DCH subsiguientes que son incompatibles con la informacion de distribucion de canal.
