Abstract

La presente se refiere a un método para distinguir por lo menos dos tipos diferentes de elementos de combustible (10), para uso en un reactor nuclear, incluyendo cada elemento de combustible (10) una parte central (12), que comprende una pluralidad de partículas de combustible (14), cada una de las cuales tiene un nucleo de material fisionable, dispersado en una matriz (16), y por lo menos un revestimiento (18, 20) alrededor de la parte central, cuyo método incluye proporcionar en el por lo menos un revestimiento (18, 20) de cada elemento de combustible (10) del primer tipo predeterminado elementos de identificacion con los que el elemento de combustible (10) de dicho primer tipo es distinguible de elementos de combustible (10) de otro tipo.
