Abstract
Se describe un sistema de identificacion por radiofrecuencia (RFID) que utiliza un blindaje conductor sustancialmente contiguo para dar forma a un campo electromagnético formado por una antena para comunicacion con etiquetas RFID. La antena y el blindaje conductor tienen formas sustancialmente planares, y pueden estar montados sobre una superficie de un área de check-in/check-out (entrega/retiro). El blindaje conductor está ubicado alrededor de la antena y dentro de un plano paralelo a la antena, por ejemplo, dentro del mismo plano. El blindaje conductor da forma al campo electromagnético para que se extienda sustancialmente en una direccion perpendicular a la antena, y evita que el campo electromagnético se forme sustancialmente sobre el blindaje conductor.
