Abstract

Se describen un método y planta (1) para la introduccion de un líquido en una masa fundida bajo presion. Dicho método y dicha planta (1) son particularmente, pero no exclusivamente, adecuados para la formacion de una capa de revestimiento (5, 6, 7) en un elemento cable que comprende al menos un conductor (4), y dicha capa (5, 6, 7) comprende un polímero termoplástico extrusado que forma una fase continua que incorpora un líquido dieléctrico, y resultan utiles, por ejemplo, para la produccion de un cable eléctrico (3) para el transporte y/o distribucion de energía eléctrica. El método comprende los pasos de llevar el líquido a una presion predeterminada mayor que la presion de la masa fundida; alimentar el líquido dentro de una pluralidad de tanques de almacenamiento (12); e inyectar el líquido dentro dela masa fundida a una presion de inyeccion equivalente a la presion predeterminada mencionada anteriormente, por medio de una pluralidad de inyectores (13) en comunicacion fluida respectiva con la pluralidad de tanques de almacenamiento(12). Ventajosamente, esto permite lograr una continuidad sustancial de administracion del líquido de forma tecnologicamente sencilla y bajo costo, asegurando asimismo una dispersion tan uniforme como sea posible del líquido dentro de una masa fundida.
