Abstract
Se describe un método para escribir un flujo de informacion de audio/video a un disco optico, y para leer la informacion del disco. El flujo de informacion comprende una pluralidad de partes de video alternativas (VS1; VS2, VS3) que son grabadas de una manera intercalada, una unidad intercalada (IU(i)) comprende una pluralidad de bloques de ángulo (ABj(i)), cada (ABj(i)) comprendiendo una porcion (VSj(i)) para cada una de dichas partes de flujo de video alternativo (VSj). Para cada porcion de video, se definen una pluralidad de puntos de entrada (EP). Se permite a un usuario cambiar desde un flujo de video (VS2) a otro flujo de video (VS1; VS3) en cualquier momento durante la reproduccion de una porcion de video, el cambio será efectuado en el primer punto de entrada después de la orden del usuario. Así, no es necesario esperar hasta que la porcion de video haya sido reproducida por completo, así, es posible definir grandes longitudes de bloque de ángulo, así se reduce la frecuencia de salto durante la reproduccion normal.
