Abstract
Composición blanqueadora dental líquida no acuosa, estable, compuesta por un compuesto de peróxido anhidro disperso en un material orgánico hidrofóbico de aceptación oral, tal como un polímero sensible a la presión a base de silicona, composición que, cuando se aplica tópicamente sobre las superficies de los dientes, forma una capa adherente que contiene el compuesto de peróxido. El cual luego es liberado de la capa para proceder a blanquear los dientes. Reivindicación 1:Una composición blanqueadora dental estable adecuada para su aplicación a los dientes en la cavidad bucal, caracterizada porque comprende un compuesto liberador de peróxido disperso en un adhesivo sensible a la presión hidrofóbico anhidro de aceptación oral y que, cuando se aplica en forma tópica a las superficies de los dientes, forma una capa adherente que contiene el compuesto de. Peróxido, el cual luego se libera de la capa para blanquear los dientes. Reivindicación 2: La composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el compuesto de peróxido es percarbonato de sodio. Reivindicación 4: La composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el compuesto de peróxido es PVP/H2O2. Reivindicación 6: La composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el adhesivo sensible a la presión hidrofóbico anhidro es un adhesivo sensible a la presión a base de silicona. Reivindicación 7: La composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 6, caracterizada porque el adhesivo sensible a la presión a base de silicona es un polímero copolímero que se prepara condensando una resina siliconada con un polidiorganosiloxano. Reivindicación 10: La composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque la composición contiene un agente mejorador de la adherencia. Reivindicación 14: Un método para blanquear dientes, caracterizado porque comprende: a) preparar la composición blanqueadora dental líquida no acuosa de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1; b) pintar con la composición los dientes a blanquear; c) mantener la composición en contacto con los dientes durante varios minutos por día; y luego d) repetir los pasos b y c durante varios días para así blanquear los dientes.
