Abstract

Un catalizador sólido para procedimientos de hidrotratamiento de hidrocarburos, que comprende: (A) un soporte de una naturaleza ácida que consiste en un sólido poroso catalíticamente activo, que incluye silicio, aluminio, fósforo y oxígeno ligados entre sí de una manera tal como para formar un sólido amorfo mixto caracterizado por una relación atómica Si/Al entre 15 y 250, una relación P/Al de por lo menos 0,1 pero menor que 5, un volumen de poros total que oscila entre 0,5 y 2,0 ml/g, con un diámetro de poro de promedio que oscila entre 3 nm y 40 nm, y un área de superficie específica que oscila entre 200 y 1000 m2/g; (B) por lo menos un metal con una actividad hidro-deshidrogenante seleccionado entre los grupos 6 a 10 de la tabla periódica de los elementos, dispersado en dicho soporte (A) en una cantidad entre 0,05 y 5% en peso con respecto al peso total del catalizador. Dicho catalizador se usa ventajosamente en procedimientos de hidrocraqueo de mezclas de hidrocarburos, para obtener combustibles y bases lubricantes.
