Abstract
Una turbina de impulso, particularmente del tipo reversible, que comprende por lo menos un rotor (10) caleteado sobre un eje (14) girable sobre su eje de rotación. Cada rotor (10) es provisto con por lo menos un miembro de trabajo ahuecado (12) capaz de recibir un fluido alimentado según una dirección sustancialmente transversal a dicho eje de rotación, desde una posición de ingreso (12a) del fluido a dicho miembro de trabajo ahuecado (12) hasta una porción de descarga (12b) del mismo, de modo que como resultado del pasaje del fluido en dicho miembro de trabajo ahuecado (12) se generan solicitaciones de empuje cuya resultante (F) tiende a desplazar a dicho rotor (10) en rotación alrededor de su eje (14). La distancia ® entre la recta de acción de la resultante de las fuerzas de empuje (F) sobre cada miembro de trabajo ahuecado (12) y el eje de rotación del rotor (10) es menor que la distancia ( R) que media entre la porción de ingreso (12a) del fluido en cada miembro de trabajo ahuecado (12) y el eje de rotación del rotor (10).
