Abstract

Método para reducir la incidencia de resistencia de las plagas a plantas pesticidas. Específicamente, se presenta un locus en el cual se alimentan las plagas de las plantas, que comprende por lo menos dos regiones y se caracteriza por: a) una primera región que comprende plantas que producen por lo menos una primera toxina pesticida y b) una segunda región que comprende plantas que producen por lo menos una segunda toxina pesticida, donde una plaga que puede desarrollar resistencia a la primera toxina no desarrolla resistencia a la segunda toxina y la primera región comprende plantas que producen la primera toxina pero no la segunda toxina cuando las plantas de la segunda región producen la segunda toxina, pero no la primera toxina. En un aspecto, las plagas de las plantas son insectos. Método para controlar los insectos.
