Abstract
"MéTODO MELHORADO DE CONTROLE DA RESISTêNCIA PARA LAVOURAS TRANSGêNICAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a redução da incidência de resistência das pestes às plantas pesticidas. Em particular, é fornecido um local em que as pestes de planta se alimentam que compreende pelo menos duas regiões, caracterizado pelo fato de que: a) uma primeira região compreende plantas que produzem pelo menos uma primeira toxina pesticida; e b) uma segunda região compreende plantas que produzem pelo menos uma segunda toxina pesticida; em que uma peste que pode desenvolver resistência à primeira toxina não desenvolve resistência à segunda toxina, e a primeira região compreende plantas que produzem a primeira toxina mas não a segunda toxina quando as plantas da segunda região produzem a segunda toxina mas não a primeira toxina. Em um aspecto da invenção, as pestes de planta são insetos. A invenção também fornece um método para controlar insetos.
