Abstract
Transmisor VSB para procesar paquetes de datos suplementarios con paquetes de datos MPEG-II incluye un procesador de datos suplementarios VSB y un sistema de transmisión VSB. El procesador de datos suplementarios VSB incluye un codificador Reed-Solomon para codificar los datos suplementarios a transmitir, un insertador de secuencia nula para insertar una secuencia nula a datos suplementarios intercalados al efecto de generar una secuencia predefinida, un insertador de encabezamiento para insertar un encabezamiento MPEG a los datos suplementarios que poseen la secuencia nula inserta en ellos, un multiplexor para multiplexar datos MPEG codificados con los datos suplementarios que poseen el encabezamiento MPEG incorporado, bajo una relación y unidad de multiplexado preestablecida. La salida del multiplexor es provista a un sistema de transmisión 8T-VSB para modular un campo de datos del multiplexor y transmitir el campo de datos modulado a un sistema de recepción VSB.
