Abstract

Se revela un dispositivo buscador de alcance para utilización con un controlador en una disposición óptica de acuerdo con una realización del presente. El dispositivo buscador de alcance comprende un transmisor configurado para producir un primer haz de radiación no visible para interceptar un objeto percibido, y un receptor configurado para detectar un segundo haz de radiación no visible reflejada del objeto percibido, estando el controlador configurado para determinar una distancia de visión del objeto percibido en base a senales recibidas del transmisor y receptor. También se revela un método de control de una disposición de lente óptico. El método comprende utilizar un dispositivo buscador de alcance para determinar una distancia de visión de un objeto percibido por medio de un lente electroactivo y ajustar una longitud focal de una primera porción del lente electroactivo en base a la distancia de visión, también ser revela una disposición de lente óptico. La disposición de lente óptico comprende un lente electroactivo y con controlador acoplado al lente electroactivo configurado para ajustar una longitud focal de por lo menos una porción del lente electroactivo en base a una senal provenientemente de un dispositivo buscador de alcance.
