Abstract
Se describen un procedimiento y un aparato para refrigerar un motor de combustión interna. En una circulación de refrigeración del motor de combustión interna, se utiliza una composición refrigerante no iónica acuosa. Con la finalidad de asegurar una protección duradera contra la corrosión incluso para los componentes de metal ligero del motor, por ejemplo componentes que comprenden magnesio o aleaciones de magnesio, las cuales están en contacto con el líquido refrigerante, teniendo la circulación refrigerante por lo menos un medio de desionización, por ejemplo un intercambiador de iones, para el líquido refrigerante.
