Abstract
Un nuevo procedimiento para la preparación de películas a base de poli(óxido de etileno) reticulado. Este procedimiento comprende las etapas que consisten en: a) disolver dicho polímero o copolímero de óxido de etileno solo o mezclado con un polímero soluble en agua, en un sistema de solvente constituido por agua, un solvente orgánico o una mezcla en cualquier proporción de agua y de solvente orgánico, en presencia de una cantidad eficaz de un agente foto-iniciador o de un agente reticulante; B1) o bien secar la solución así obtenida hasta evaporación del sistema de solvente cuando el mismo está constituido exclusivamente por un solvente orgánico para obtener así una película seca y tratar la película así obtenida, en condiciones que permitan la absorción de una cantidad de agua comprendida entre 10 y 100% en peso referido al peso del polímero; b2) o bien secar la solución así obtenida hasta evaporación del sistema de solvente cuando el mismo está constituido por agua o una mezcla de agua-solvente orgánico para obtener así una película que contiene entre 10 y 100% en peso de agua referido al peso del polímero; c) irradiar la película así obtenida por medio de rayos ultravioletas de una longitud de ondas comprendida entre 200 y 400 nm durante un tiempo suficiente para permitir la reticulación. Aplicación: biomateriales particularmente útiles en el dominio de la medicina o la cosmética.
