Abstract

Se describe un sistema de calentamiento de agua en el cual la temperatura del agua de salida es regulada mediante una válvula mezcladora que permite que la temperatura del agua contenida dentro del calentador de agua sea mantenida a una temperatura mucho más alta sin comprometer la seguridad. Significativamente más agua caliente está por consiguiente disponible para el uso y todavía la temperatura máxima suministrada a los varios puntos de uso está dentro de los límites de seguridad. El sistema puede ser configurado adicionalmente para suministrar agua caliente sin mezclar a puntos de uso en donde una temperatura más alta es necesaria y un usuario no está expuesto al agua, tal como por ejemplo, en una máquina lavadora de platos.
