Abstract
Se revela un conjunto de sellado por caperuza terminal para una pila electroquímica, por ejemplo una pila alcalina. El conjunto de caperuza terminal comprende un disco de soporte metálico enrevesado y un disco de sellado aislante subyacente. El disco de soporte enrevesado posee una pared que se extiende en dirección descendente con por lo menos una abertura pasante que preferentemente está orientada hacia el ambiente. El disco aislante presenta una pared que se extiende en dirección descendente inclinada formando una membrana colapsable que subyace y se apoya sobre la superficie interna de la pared que se extiende en dirección descendente del disco de soporte. La membrana colapsable está inclinada en dirección descendente a un ángulo agudo con relación al eje longitudinal central de la pila. La membrana colapsable subyace y se apoya sobre la abertura en la pared que se extiende en dirección descendente de la caperuza terminal. Cuando la presión de gas dentro de la pila excede un nivel predeterminado la membrana colapsable penetra por dicha abertura y se rompe permitiendo que el gas escape desde allí al ambiente. Una placa terminal separada puede ser colocada sobre el disco de soporte metálico y soldada al mismo.
