Abstract

Un equipo de rociado a baja presión asistido por aire con una boquilla de rociado mejorada, que incluye: 1) una pistola de calafateo que tiene un soporte adaptado para recibir dos o más cartuchos con una boquilla, 2) una mezcladora estática que tiene un extremo corriente arriba y un extremo corriente abajo, en la que: a) el extremo corriente arriba tiene un conducto de toma para recibir un componente líquido de la boquilla de cada cartucho y el extremo corriente arriba está dimensionado para estar conectado de forma reversible a los cartuchos de la pistola de calafateo, y b) el extremo corriente abajo tiene una punta de rociado opcionalmente desmontable para introducir los componentes líquidos mezclados dentro de una zona de atomización y el extremo corriente abajo está dimensionado para conectar de forma reversible la mezcladora estática a una sección de rociado, y 3) una sección de rociado que tiene un extremo corriente arriba y un extremo corriente abajo, en la que, a) el extremo corriente arriba de la sección de rociado está dimensionado para estar conectado de forma reversible a la mezcladora estática, b) la sección de rociado tiene unos conductos de salida para introducir aire presurizado, y c) el extremo corriente debajo de la sección de rociado tiene unos conductos de salida para introducir aire dentro de una zona de atomización formada entre los conductos de salida y la punta de rociado, en el que la punta de rociado de la mezcladora estática pasa a través de un orificio en la sección de rociado, de forma que los componentes líquidos mezclados son introducidos dentro de la zona de atomización. La presente invención también se refiere a un procedimiento para rociar una composición de uno o dos componentes con el equipo de rociado de baja presión asistido por aire.
