Abstract
Un material de alimentación de hidrocarburos pesados refinado que tiene las siguientes propiedades: i) una densidad API de 10 a 23; ii) una densidad a 15sC de entre 0,92 g/ml y 1 g/ml; iii) una viscosidad a 40sC de entre 15 cSty 300 cSt; iv) un contenido reducido de vanadio, de entre 60 ppm y 100 ppm; y v) un contenido reducido de níquel, de entre 10 ppm y 50 ppm, donde el material de alimentación de hidrocarburos pesados se selecciona del grupo que consiste de petróleo pesado y bitumen. El material de alimentación de hidrocarburos pesados es producido usando un reactor de pirólisis de corto tiempo de resistencia que opera en condiciones tales que se produce un craqueo y un refinado químico del material de alimentación. Se reduce la viscosidad del material de alimentación para permitir el transporte por oleoductos de los materiales de alimentación refinados sin agregado o con un agregado mínimo de diluyentes.
