Abstract
Está dirigida a un método para prevenir o tratar un trastorno bipolar que comprende administrar a un sujeto la necesidad del mismo, una cantidad terapéuticamente efectiva de un enantiomero con la formula 1 o una mezcla enantiomérica en la cual predomine un enantiomero con la formula 1 en la cual el fenilo está sustituido en X por uno a cinco átomos halogeno seleccionados entre el grupo que consiste en fluor, cloro, bromo, y yodo; y R1, R2, R3 y R4 se seleccionan independientemente entre el grupo que consiste en hidrogeno y alquilo, C1-4; en el cual el alquilo C1-4 está opcionalmente sustituido por fenilo (donde el fenilo está opcionalmente sustituido por sustituyentes que se seleccionan independientemente entre el grupo compuesto por halogeno, alquilo C1-4, alcoxi C1-4, amino, nitro y ciano).It is directed to a method for preventing or treating a bipolar disorder that comprises administering to a subject the need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of an enantiomer with formula 1 or an enantiomeric mixture in which an enantiomer with formula 1 predominates in the which phenyl is substituted in X by one to five halogen atoms selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine; and R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-4 alkyl; wherein the C1-4 alkyl is optionally substituted by phenyl (where the phenyl is optionally substituted by substituents which are independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, amino, nitro and cyano).
