Abstract
Esta invencion esta dirigida a un metodo para prevenir, tratar o aliviar trastornos relacionados con sustancias, en un sujeto que necesita el mismo que comprende administrar al sujeto una cantidad efectiva de un compuesto seleccionado de la formula (I) o la formula (II): o formas farmaceuticamente aceptables del mismo, en donde el fenilo es sustituido en X con uno a cinco atomos de halogeno seleccionados del grupo que consiste de fluor, cloro, bromo y yodo, y R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, y R6 se seleccionan independientemente del grupo que consiste de hidrogeno y alquilo de C1-4 en donde alquilo de c1-4 es opcionalmente sustituido con fenilo (y, en donde el fenilo es opcionalmente sustituido con sustituyentes independientemente seleccionados del grupo que consiste de halogeno, alquilo de c1-4, alcoxi de C1-C4, amino, nitro y ciano); ademas, se incluyen metodos que implican la co-administracion de compuestos de la invencion con uno o mas compuestos conocidos para el tratamiento de trastornos inducidos por sustancias.This invention is directed to a method for preventing, treating or alleviating substance-related disorders, in a subject that needs the same which comprises administering to the subject an effective amount of a compound selected from the formula (I) or the formula (II): or pharmaceutically acceptable forms thereof, wherein the phenyl is substituted in X with one to five halogen atoms selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine, and R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-4 alkyl wherein C1-4 alkyl is optionally substituted with phenyl (and, wherein the phenyl is optionally substituted with substituents independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1 alkyl -4, C1-C4 alkoxy, amino, nitro and cyano); In addition, methods involving the co-administration of compounds of the invention with one or more known compounds for the treatment of substance-induced disorders are included.
