Abstract

Un agente curtiente que comprende el producto de reaccion de un compuesto de fosfonio cuaternario (por ej. cloruro o sulfato de tetra hidroximetil fosfonio) con un agente de curtido vegetal (por ej. mimosa, castano, junco, tara, mirobolam o quebracho). Se provee además un método para la produccion de dicho curtiente segun formula (1), donde A es un agente de curtido conteniendo polifenol, y R1, R2 y R3 son seleccionados de -OH o X, en donde X es cloruro, sulfato, o fosfato, con la condicion de que solo uno de R1, R2 y R3 es X.A tanning agent comprising the reaction product of a quaternary phosphonium compound (eg tetrahydroxymethyl phosphonium chloride or sulfate) with a vegetable tanning agent (eg mimosa, chestnut, reed, tara, mirobolam or quebracho). A method is also provided for the production of said tannery according to formula (1), where A is a tanning agent containing polyphenol, and R1, R2 and R3 are selected from -OH or X, where X is chloride, sulfate, or phosphate, with the proviso that only one of R1, R2 and R3 is X.
