Abstract

Un método y una herramienta de pozo para utilizar una lechada de baja viscosidad para recubrir con grava un intervalo de terminacion. La herramienta de pozo se compone de un tamiz y por lo menos una senda de flujo alterna que está inicialmente cerrada al flujo por un dispositivo de válvula. Una vez que se forma un puente de arena en el intervalo de terminacion, la presion de la lechada que se bombea aumenta, por lo cual, a su vez, abre el dispositivo de válvula para permitir el paso por la senda de flujo alterna. Preferentemente, se proporcionan varias sendas de flujo de diferentes longitudes, todas las cuales incluyen dispositivos de válvulas que están adaptadas para abrirse a diferentes presiones.
