Abstract

El recipiente tiene una cámara de cuerpo que contiene una sustancia, de tamano variado, con un canal en un extremo de salida. Este canal está sellado por una lengüeta arrancable en un extremo distante de la cámara. Dentro del canal hay una válvula de sello positivo que puede volver a sellar el recipiente después de que ha sido inicialmente abierto. La pared inferior usualmente tendrá una forma concava y la pared superior que se pone en contacto con la pared inferior tiene una forma convexa coincidente. Sin embargo, esto no es requerido pues el canal puede tener muchas formas y dimensiones diferentes. Esta válvula puede ser separada de la cámara de cuerpo que contiene la sustancia por una porcion del canal, puede estar en el empalme de la cámara de almacenaje y el canal o puede estar en el empalme de la salida del canal. Cuando una presion de compresion es aplicada a la cámara que contiene la sustancia, la sustancia fluye hacia abajo del canal hasta la válvula. Cuando la presion del líquido llega a un nivel dado, la pared superior concava de la válvula se mueve fuera de contacto con la pared inferior convexa y parte de la sustancia es dispensada. Al cesar la presion las porciones convexa y concava se ponen nuevamente en contacto para interrumpir el flujo de sustancia. Esta válvula produce un sello positivo que proporciona un sello positivo para el recipiente termoconformado.
