Abstract

Se provee una composicion para el tratamiento de plantas y la aplicacion de una sustancia química exogena tal como glifosato sobre el follaje de la planta. La composicion comprende además de la sustancia química exogena, uno o más compuestos tipo amina, cada uno con una formula como la indicada en (I) donde R1 es un grupo hidrocarbilo, preferiblemente una cadena lineal de hidrocarbilo que tiene entre 6 y alrededor de 22 átomos de carbono, y al menos 30% de todos los grupos R1 presentes son grupo hidrocarbilos que tienen de 14 a alrededor de 22 átomos de carbono, y R2 y R3 son independientemente grupos C1-5 hidrocarbilo. Los compuestos tipo amina están presentes en la composicion en una relacion molar con la sustancia química exogena alrededor de 0,01 a 1 y alrededor de 0,8 a 1. The amine compounds are present in the composition in a molar ratio with the exogenous chemical about 0.01 to 1 and about 0.8 to 1. The exogenous chemical and the amine compounds of formula (I) are dissolved. or dispersed in an agronomically acceptable liquid carrier, preferably in water. A solid or concentrated liquid composition is also provided which, after being dissolved or dispersed in, or diluted with, water, forms a composition for the treatment of plants according to the invention. The compositions for the treatment of plants of the invention are useful for causing a biological activity, for example, a herbicidal activity, in a plant.
