The amine compounds of formula (I) are present in the composition in a molar ratio of the exogenous chemical substance from about 0.01: 1 to about 0.8: 1. The exogenous chemical substance and amine compounds of formula I are dissolved or dispersed in an agronomically acceptable liquid carrier, preferably water. Also provided is a solid or liquid concentrate composition which, upon dissolution or dispersion in, or dilution with, water, forms a plant treatment composition of the invention.
