Abstract
Método para intensificar la estabilidad de una emulsion de agua en aceite estabilizada con solidos mediante tratamiento previo del aceite antes de la emulsificacion. El paso de pretratamiento se puede obtener agregando un ácido diluido a dicho aceite, agregando un aditivo de lignosulfonato a dicho aceite, sulfonando dicho aceite, oxidando térmicamente dicho aceite en un ambiente inerte y combinaciones de los mismos. La emulsion puede ser utilizada en métodos de recuperacion intensificada de petroleo, incluso utilizando la emulsion como fluido de desplazamiento para desplazar a los hidrocarburos de una formacion subterránea y utilizando la emulsion como fluido de barrera para desviar el flujo de los fluidos de la formacion
