Un método de purificacion de efluentes acuosos que contiene compuestos peroxidados en particular. Más particularmente, un método de purificacion deefluentes acuosos que comprende un método de descomposicion biologica anaerobia de los compuestos conte nidos en el efluente. Los efluentes son tratados conanterioridad a su descomposicion biologica anaerobia, en un paso de desperoxidacion para reducir la concentracion de peroxido y evitar el efecto perjudicial deestos compuestos en enzimas o bacterias
