Abstract
La presente invencion describe productos de granos blanqueados tales como harina de trigo entero blanqueado que se obtienen y que tienen el color y elsabor de la harina blanca mediante el blanqueo de granos de trigo enteros antes del molidoconvencio nal de la harina . Los granos de trigo son tratados con unasolucion de peroxido para aclarar el color de las capas de salvado. Los granos blanqueados pueden ser templados y molidos en harinas de granos enteros quetienen del 10% al 12 % defibra dieta ria del salvado pero que son de color blanco y de sabor dulce. Las harinas de trigo entero con alto contenido de fibras,blanqueadas pueden usarse para preparar productos con buen sabor y nutritivos tales como productos horneados talescomo panes y pa steles así como productos depastas y cereales listos para comer o refrigerios basados en granos.
